What the authority reported

A manufacturing defect may cause hot air to leak from the air intake duct between the turbocharger and the air exchanger. The escaping hot air may overheat nearby plastic and rubber components, potentially causing a fire in the engine compartment. This can also lead to a loss of engine power which could increase the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
