What the authority reported
A manufacturing defect in the second-stage spindle assembly may restrict the flow of breathing gas at depths exceeding 45 metres. As a result, the regulator may not supply sufficient breathing gas when required, which could lead to drowning. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
