What the authority reported
The windings in the transformer are not properly fixed or insulated and are too close to the metal parts. Additionally, the safety distances on the printed circuit board are too small and the distance between the live parts and the appliance’s outer casing is insufficient. As a result, accessible parts could become live, increasing the risk of electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
