What the authority reported
The motorcycle, its battery charger, cable and plug have not been manufactured to the required standards. The adaptor was assessed as unsafe as this also did not have the facility for a fuse. If the product was left plugged in overnight, the battery could overheat and explode, causing a fire.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
