What the authority reported
Welds on the frame may have insufficient resistance. High loads generated while driving on irregular road surfaces or over potholes could cause cracks in the welds. This could cause the welded area to break without warning, the lower cradle to detach from the steering head and the frame collapsing, leading to injuries.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
