What the authority reported

The plastic material of the USB cable of the product contains Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) , Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), (measured values: 0.019%, 9.5% and 0.34% by weight, respectively). These phthalates may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. Moreover, the battery compartment can be easily opened without the use of tools, leaving the batteries accessible. A child may put them in the mouth and choke. The batteries could cause damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract if they are ingested.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
