What the authority reported
The product is supplied with a plug that has no facility for a fuse. Moreover, it is supplied with a travel adaptor that is unsuitable for charging motorbikes. If the product were left plugged in overnight, the adaptor and plug could overheat, causing the adaptor, transformer and/or lithium-ion battery on the product to catch fire and explode.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
