What the authority reported
The anchor's resistance to load is insufficient. If a climber uses the anchor when climbing, there is a risk that the anchor won’t be able to stop a potential fall and the climber is therefore exposed to the risk of insufficient fall arrest when taking a fall and the consequences may be severe injuries.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
