What the authority reported

Issue: On certain school buses, the rear interior bulkhead panel may not have been attached correctly. As a result, the buses may not meet the joint strength requirements of Canadian regulations.

Safety Risk: A body joint that is not strong enough could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to add more fasteners to the rear bulkhead panel joints.
