What the authority reported

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the front fork cap threads may become stripped and could separate. If this happens, there could be a sudden change in handling. Note: This recall only affects certain motorcycles with a 660cc engine.

Safety Risk: A sudden change in handling could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the front fork caps.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
