What the authority reported

Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the steering column may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the steering shaft could separate from the universal joint and cause a loss of steering.

Safety Risk: A loss of steering could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action: Prevost advises that you should not drive your vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. Prevost will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for how to replace the steering column joint.
