What the authority reported
Issue: On certain motorcycles, the spark plugs may have been damaged during production. This could lead to an unstable idle, engine hesitation or the engine could stall.
Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the spark plugs.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
