What the authority reported

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlets may have been wired incorrectly. As a result, the outlets do not have proper circuit protection.

Safety Risk: An electrical outlet that doesn't have proper circuit protection could create a risk of shock or electrocution.

Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Winnebago will instruct dealers to repair the GFCI circuit wiring before each trailer is delivered.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
