What the authority reported

Issue: On certain side-by-sides, the bottom of the shock absorber(s) could loosen and detach. As a result, the shock absorber(s) could separate and cause a loss of vehicle stability.

Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your side-by-side to a dealership to apply thread locking compound the shock absorber(s). To reduce the safety risk, CFMOTO advises you not to drive your vehicle until the recall repairs are completed.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
