What the authority reported

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wiring for the front camera may not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged and some driver assistance systems may not work, including active brake assist, lane keep assist, and automatic high beams. Note: This problem would cause a "front camera malfunction service required" warning message to display on the instrument panel.

Safety Risk: Driver assistance systems that do not work properly could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, reroute the wiring for the front camera. If the wiring is damaged, it will be repaired or replaced.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
