What the authority reported

Issue: On certain garbage trucks, the brake caliper bolts may not have been tightened properly. As a result, over time, the bolts could loosen and cause reduced braking.

Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause an extended stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Dennis Eagle will notify owners by email and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the brake caliper bolts.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
