What the authority reported
Issue: On certain scooters, the metal pipe portion of the fuel supply hose may have been bent during installation. As a result, the supply hose could become damaged by contact with the fuel vapor hose and cause a fuel leak.
Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions: Suzuki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the fuel hose set.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
