What the authority reported

Issue: On certain school buses, the heater hose clamps may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the heater hose could disconnect, and coolant could leak into the bus.

Safety Risk: A coolant leak could create the risk of a burn injury.

Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and, if necessary, tighten or replace the heater hose clamps.
