What the authority reported

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the wiring for the slide-out bedroom may not be secured properly. As a result, when the bedroom slide-out extends or retracts, the wiring could become damaged and cause a short circuit.

Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Keystone will instruct dealers to inspect and, if necessary, secure and repair the slide-out bedroom wiring. To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises you not to use the slide-out bedroom until the recall repairs have been completed.
