What the authority reported

Issue: On certain scooters, the wrong rearview mirrors may have been installed. As a result, the mirrors are missing the "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." warning. Note: This recall only affects certain Officina 8 models.

Safety Risk: If the warning is missing, the rider may not be aware that objects reflected in the mirrors appear farther away than they actually are. This could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Piaggio will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the rearview mirrors.
