What the authority reported

Issue: On certain buses, the instruction label for how to use the entrance door as an emergency exit may not be clear. This could delay occupants from escaping the bus in an emergency.

Safety Risk: Unclear emergency exit instructions could cause confusion and delay occupants from exiting the bus during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Actions: Prevost will notify owners by mail and provide you with a new emergency exit label and instructions for where to install it. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the label installed at an authorized Prevost service center.
