What the authority reported
On affected vehicles the 48V cable could become too close to an underbody cross-brace and rub against the metal cross-brace exposing the cable core resulting in a short circuit and risk of fire. Remedy: Inspect harness and as needed reposition the routing bracket as necessary.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
