What the authority reported
On affected vehicles software from a previous recall may not have been installed correctly. The high voltage battery main contactor may overheat which can result in either loss of power while driving or a vehicle no start condition. Remedy: Update and verify the software.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
