What the authority reported
A number of vehicles could potentially be affected by water ingress in the Body Control Module (BCM) leading to corrosion inside. Water ingress into the BCM may prevent exterior lighting components from functioning as intended. Remedy: Inspect and repair the windscreen for leaks if necessary. Replace BCMs affected by water ingress.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
