What the authority reported
On affected vehicles The brackets used to secure the fuel pipes to the engine may not be tightened sufficiently. If the engine is repeatedly operated at high speed such as during circuit driving vibrations may cause the fuel pipe to resonate potentially causing the pipe to leak. The fuel leakage may increase the risk of fire. Remedy: Replace the fuel pipe with a modified part.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
