What the authority reported
On affected vehicles rear brake drums (eDrums) may be missing the reaction block bolts or fitted with reaction block bolts which were not tightened correctly. Missing or loose bolts could result in wheel lock or a brake fluid leak. Remedy: Check the torque on the rear brake eDrum bolts and if any of the bolts are missing install new ones.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
