What the authority reported
On affected vehicles the Body Control Module is not correctly configured to detect a failure in the indicator lamps. As a result if a turn indicator bulb fails it's not detected and the indicator warning does not activate. Remedy: Update the vehicle configuration and the Secure Gateway Electronic Control Unit.
