What the authority reported

The product presents a serious risk of choking as the dog’s nose can detach or break off during reasonably foreseeable use, creating a small part which fits entirely within a small parts cylinder. These small parts pose a choking hazard to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in their mouths. There are also no warnings to indicate that the product is supplied with a cord, which may present a strangulation hazard to young children if left unattended. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
