What the authority reported

A manufacturing defect in the tyres can cause a crack in their sidewall. Over time, this crack can grow and lead to a sudden loss of air pressure. If this happens while driving, it may affect vehicle control, especially since the tyres are on steered axles. This increases the risk of accidents and could result in injuries to occupants or other road users. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
