What the authority reported

The supplied plug adaptor does not meet dimensional requirements, preventing a secure connection with the socket and causing overheating over time. In addition, the supplied plug does not have capacity for a fuse, which is required for safe operation under fault conditions. Moreover, the earth pin of the adaptor is not solid. These could cause the adaptor or plug to catch fire or explode, posing a risk of fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive.
