What the authority reported
A manufacturing defect in the supplier’s process may result in a small component of the terminal mount becoming loose. This condition presents the risk of a short circuit between the cells of the traction battery, which could lead to a thermal hazard. In such an event, a red warning alert will be displayed on the dashboard.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
