What the authority reported

Issue: On certain school buses, the roof hatch (emergency exit) may not have a French label. Canadian regulations require labels to be in English and French.

Safety Risk: An emergency exit that's not properly labeled may create confusion. This could increase the risk of injury in an emergency situation.

Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, replace the label. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Micro Bird dealership.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
