What the authority reported

Issue: On certain buses, the bolts that attach the upper control arms to the frame may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the upper control arms could separate from the frame. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control.

Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Dynamic Specialty Vehicles will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to tighten the bolts for the upper control arms. Dynamic Specialty Vehicles will also help arrange for a wheel alignment, as necessary.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
