What the authority reported

Issue: On certain vehicles converted for wheelchair access by BraunAbility, the wiring harnesses for the driver and/or front passenger seats may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the airbags may not work properly in a crash. Note: This problem would cause an airbag system warning light to display on the instrument panel.

Safety Risk: An airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: BraunAbility will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a BraunAbility service center to inspect and repair the wiring harnesses for the front seats, as necessary.
