What the authority reported

Issue: On one truck, the tire pressure label lists the incorrect rear tire pressure information. This could lead you to underinflate the tires and could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects one truck equipped with the enhanced towing option and a 20-inch tire and wheel accessory package. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install a tire label overlay, update the engine control module, inflate the tires to the correct pressure and calibrate the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS).
