What the authority reported

Issue: On certain buses, the brake treadle valve may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the air line(s) could disconnect from the valve connections and cause an air leak in the brake system. If this happens, there could be reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and secure the treadle valve connections.
